Sure wish I had something to write about today. Maybe I should just not write an entry this morning. Wait for something to happen.
Like exciting things just fall on me the minute I walk out of my suburban house and into the wilds of strip malls and four lane roads.
I might have to run back up to the Humane Society today for eye de-gooping ointment for that little lemon of a kitty we bought. That can bring excitement. Or at least we can assume I'll witness some sort of craziness.
Let's see. Yesterday, it snowed. I got a phone call in the middle of the afternoon from my Breckenridge Colorado pal, Ben. He was trying to pull a Neener Neener Neener moment on me because he'd heard it was snowing in good old home to him Minnesota.
Ben: "I heard it's snowing".
Me: "Yeah, but it's the perfect kind of snow. It lands on the yards and melts on the streets".
Ben: "But it's cold!"
Me: "How cold is it in Breckenridge?"
Ben: "22"
Me: "Bummer. It's 32 here. Who's Neener-Neenering Now".
Ben: "Great. I just wanted to Neener someone who had it worse than me".
Me: "And it's supposed to be 60 by the weekend".
Ben: "Guess I'll go kill some time somewhere else" and he said goodbye.
And hey, guess what? Blizzard conditions for the Denver area this weekend! Breckenridge is usually worse-off.
Where's your Neener, Now?!
