Nothing much to write about today. I just wanted to get that last entry full of rants shuffled back a page.

So. Uh. This morning Thor and I hauled crap out to the curb for tomorrow's city clean-up. The peach couch. The teal wing back chairs and matching ottoman. Our old kitchen table that's falling apart. A bunch of construction materials. A Praying Mantis gardening thing that Thor's parents gave to us and just took up space. A saucer winter sled. Etc.

The saucer was snatched up fast. So was the ottoman. Damn. The chairs and couch still sit there but the matching ottoman is gone.

Also, I put out a set of cross country skis and some crutches. I wonder if they're gone yet. You just never know what other people think of your junk!

We also put out our old oven and that stupid free clothes washer that Thor got from the side of the road last year. God, I'm glad to have that piece of mildewy crap out of here! The city will take two appliances per year and that's the last of what we had piled in the back yard.

Food for Folks was uneventful today. Except my last delivery. She was up and sitting with her county worker, who comes to give her a bath and clean her apartment once a week. They were snacking and watching What Not to Wear. My arthritic gal who lives in her flannel pajamas year round and only leaves the smoke-filled apartment when she has a medical emergency. They cracked me up. I should apply for that job so I can get paid to sit on my client's couch, eat chips and watch TLC too!

Okay, time to get back to the Kitsch. I'm making book marks and book thongs in time for Mother's Day. I'll let you know when they're posted.
