Who are you, Kitchen Logic?

I am...

• a woman who will be 50 in February, 2009
  
• a woman who will be married for 20 years in May, 2007. And I like my husband, even after all these years!
  
• a mother of two teenaged sons, both in high school. And I like them, most of the time!
  
• a suburban dweller, near Minneapolis, Minnesota (just south of Canada, smack dab in the middle of the USA for those of you geographically impaired). Let me know if you have any Mall of America questions. Doesn't everyone want to save their money so one day they can take a family vacation to a shopping mall?
  
• a near-B.S. degree holder from a Minnesota state university. I apparently have an A.A. degree, according to my cousin who was at the graduation ceremony, heard my name and wondered where I was. I wonder where I was, too. I had no idea! I should call the university and get a hard copy of it.
  
• a previous commercial real estate property manager who left the business in my last month of my first pregnancy back in 1989. My God! I haven't had a real, paying job since the summer of 1989!!
  
• a partially stay-at-home-mom on the verge of having no children to prove my staying-at-home-mom-status with, as they seem to be growing up way too fast.
  
• a part-part-part-time employee as a mathematically-challenged bookkeeper at a local frame shop. Where I show up when I want to show up, work a couple of hours, minus the time spent chatting with my co-workers, get the boss to run and fetch me lunch, and call it a day
  
• a daugher of a father who liked me, he really really liked but unfortunately, we buried him six days before my wedding.
  
• a daughter of a mother who says she likes me, but when it comes down to it, she hates me, she really really really hates me. She is alive to remind me of this as often as I let her.
  
• a friend in the midst of a friend-weeding frenzy. At this age, I've decided that I don't have enough life left (only another 50 years or so) to be putting up with bad girlfriend goofiness.
  
• a jewelry maker. Go Look!
  
• a cook. Go Look!
  
• always on a diet. Well. Now that the swing of dieting has turned to "lifestyle change", I am currently in a Lifestyle Change. Where, on occasion, I eat healthy foods and exercise. Kind of like Dieting. But not really, because if I call it that, I guess I'll rebel and binge on chocolate.
  
• a person with a strong appetite for reading.
  
• a person who will edit or add to or take away from this list of who I am every once in awhile.
