I'm going to do my best to summarize last night's outing without missing important details and without going into too much detail. It's a fine line, people.
Here we are - lap, akk and me. We gathered together to watch American Idol and to pool our crossed fingers in hopes that Sanjaya would go home. You have us to thank. You're welcome.
akk wore her fancy monogrammed slingback pumps
And brought a couple of delicious wines that go well with Thai food. Plus a fantastic bottle of Riesling that goes perfectly perfect with lap's delicious Lemon Bundt Cake.

Someone has been training her elementary school aged daughter how to uncork a wine bottle. Wish I'd thought of that earlier for my own boys. Homegrown Sommelier. Dang! Well, maybe next time I have children.

And an intuitive Kids in the Hall Fan. Even though lap swears that the kid has never seen the show. But here she is, pinching our heads. Either she's watching Kids in the Hall behind her mother's back or there's a mother who pinches her kids heads. Hmmmm....

What a fun night. I love her kids - especially that one that is a tad on the side of precocious. Just a smidgen. Okay, totally precocious. But heck, that kind of kid just cracks me the hell up.
