Yesterday's beautiful day turned into a humid annoyance. I'm not ready!

Buzz took me out of a walk. Seriously. We need to get me a leash. We walked along the creek and sat down for a bit so we could talk some more. I doubt that she and I will ever run out of things to talk about.

I spent the rest of the day working on photos of the Book Thongs and Bookmarks that are now in! (on the Gifts page) for all your Mother's Day needs and for those of you with your enquiring minds who have no idea what book thong is even though we already went through this conversation about this time last year. You people and your short term memories! What am I going to do with you people?!

We took my Highlander to the dealer today. It's time for an oil change already and it would be nice if they'd get the tire pressure warning light to go off seeing as how the damn thing has been on since we bought it but it wasn't worth dropping off the car for that alone.

But hey, don't get me wrong. I'm not complaining so much. I'd rather have to put up with the inconveniences of car owning than the inconvenience of not owning a car. I had a time in my life when I went grocery shopping on a bus and had to haul my laundry to a laundromat on a bus. Those were the worst damn days, ever! Especially on the days when I didn't have enough money for bus fare and had to walk home in my high heels, pantyhose and a polyester dress that clung to me and made me sweat like a prizefighter. And you wonder why I refuse to wear pantyhose?

Okay. Happy place. Happy place.

Time to go whip up a bunch of anklets. I'll let you know when they're in.
