March 30, 2007 We took the family + out to Red Lobster last night. (The + is a cousin). Dropped about a hundred bucks on greasy seafood. But when you think about it, that's not too much money to spend on 5 people, really. Especially when two of the people just had to have the lobsterfest options. And I had to have a beer. Before we'd gone, my brother came over and helped Thor and me get the treadmill into the basement. Cripes. 200 lbs. for just the deck of the beast. When we got to the bottom step there was a very loud crack. Something snapped apart but thankfully it wasn't a working item and can be easily fixed with a rubber gasket. It's a fantastic treadmill. A Sole F85. I think it might be equal to or maybe even better than the older models at the gym. Doesn't matter. It's wonderful! If any of you are interested in exercising and need a group to motivate you, consider joining me and some other bloggers in a virtual walking tour of the country. We'll be logging our miles walked (or biked or elliptical trained or however you can log miles exercised) and add them up to "walk" from one destination to another. Anyone interested should comment below with your e-mail so I can send you info. to the locked site. Let's get hot! It's raining. It's been raining all dang day long. I took Buzz to the doctor's office first thing this morning, in the rain. Delivered Food For Folks, in the rain. Picked up Oreo's ashes, in the rain. Walked on the treadmill, in the house. Tonight I plan to sip wine, read and avoid going out, in the rain. Run! Buy Cosmic's Book!
