March 20, 2007 So this thing on my face that turns me into a hideous monster? It's so very big and brown and red. Thankfully the swelling has gone down but really, I think I'll stay at home for a few more days so I don't scare people. ![]() Here ya go - me without foundation showing off my hideous pre-tuberous begonia Or maybe I'll go out and get really close to people and then start coughing. Give them something to worry about. God. That's just mean. On the kitty front, Yoda has adjusted very well to the new sleeping traditions. She comes to my room every night and every night I say to her, "Go sleep with Thing 1!" and then she goes and she sleeps with Thing 1. She doesn't seem to be suffering too much. The family is talking about getting a new kitty. "A new little fluffy thing" is what I'm mostly hearing. When I had two cats who barfed and left fur all over the place, I imagined my house being a barf- and fur-free place. But when push came to shove and I was down a barfer and and fur-leaver, I realized that having barf and fur around isn't such a bad thing when it comes with purrs and food beggings. So I'm sure we'll be getting something little and furry any day now. I think I'm going to let Thor take the boys to the Humane Society without me and bring me back a surprise. Otherwise I'll just have to bring all the kitties home. Edited: The pendulum swings back and forth, doesn't it? One minute we're dying from the grief and the next we're excited about a new/fluffy thing. We'll wait until the pendulum calms down before making any decisions about adding a new pet. How sad about all the dogs and cats who are suffering from kidney failure due to the bad canned food. I feel for those people. Especially after we discovered that I really do have a heart. Tub scrubbing day! Are you jealous?! Run! Buy Cosmic's Book!
