March 27, 2007 I was so excited to get a phone call yesterday morning from the first shipping company, who'd shipped my treadmill to the local shipping company who'd be delivering it to my door, telling me that the local shipping company would be calling me the same day to set up a delivery appointment. By 2:00 I hadn't heard a word from the local people. The very same people who one day told me they had my treadmill at their location and the next day told me they didn't have it. So I called them and told them that Tuesday morning would be just fine. They agreed and said it'd be some time between 9 and 11. I'll believe it when I see it. Give me my treadmill you lazy shipping thugs! So yesterday in Minneapolis - 81 degrees. And humidity. My foe. I cannot breath when it's humid. Which Thor refuses to believe so imagine my happiness when my youngest son started showing the same signs of being unable to breath when it's humid. Take that! you cynical bastard. Oh yeah. Sorry you can't breath Thing 2. But really, it's just nice to have confirmation, no matter the cost. Apparently, if it isn't happening to my husband, it isn't happening to anyone else. Is there a pill that induces empathy? I have a need to make a lemon-layered coconut cake. Could be the Family Circle magazine I saw yesterday with a picture of one on the cover and the Harry & David catalog I got yesterday with one on it's cover, too. Call me easily manipulated but I want to make one. Run! Buy Cosmic's Book!
