Thor and I went to the high school last night for a Choir Cabaret. It was really nice. A small, talented ensemble group sang set up a nightclub feel with tablecloths and candles and snacks at our table. Then they bravely sang solos and small group songs (and were fantastic). I just can't get over the confidence some of them have. There were a few who were more like I was when I was in choir, who looked like they were either going to faint or run of the stage and vomit, but several of them looked like pros.

Oh, and there was cheesecake during the intermission.

Not the Cheese Curds I thought Sting told me there were going to have but hey, Cheese Curds would have smelled and cheesecake is nothing but fantastic.

Thanks for hooking me up, Sting. Your son looked fantastic. I can't wait for more concerts next year!

Thor came along and didn't fuss once about having to go to a high school choir shindig even though he has no kids in high school choir. How is that for a good husband?

Hmmmm. I wonder if there's any connection between him going along with me last night and now wanting to head off to another "Tool Show" today.

He wouldn't be playing me like that would he?
