March 05, 2007 Threw my back out yesterday when I put my leg up on the tub to shave it during my shower (hysterical blindness, anyone?) Two words: Vicodin Oh. That's one word. Kids. Drugs are dangerous. I spent most of yesterday on the couch, watching movies, getting up to do a little something around the house, having my back muscles clench up, spending more time on the couch. When it was time for bed I remembered that I just might have a bottle of vicodin in the closet that I'd gotten when I got surgery on my boob in 2004 and never used. Hallelujah! I took one of those puppies and lay down to wait for the thrill of it all. Let me tell you kids something, when I had my surgery I refused to take a pain pill because I already felt crappy enough with my boob all bandaged. But last night, that pain pill was nothing but my best friend. You just remember I said that when I am updating from the Betty Ford Clinic. Today I plan to take one more vicodin and then just deal with any residual pain left over. Frickin' back. At least I'm getting some good movie-watching time. Today's choices are all Foreign Films...Amelie, Bread & Tulips. If the vicodin will let me read the subtitles. Run! Buy Cosmic's Book!
