April 17, 2007 Okay. Got that off my chest for now. Let's think about something else, shall we? I unleased the Kitten Devil yesterday. Firstly I shut the door to the basement so Scooter wouldn't get overwhelmed and so that Yoda would have a place to hide. I didn't know that Yoda was upstairs, thusly causing her to be trapped under the hyperactivity that is Scooter. But I found her in time and carried her to the basement door where she looked very thankful to be taken to. I let Scooter have the run of the first and second floor for a couple of hours. And then I put her back in her plush prison and let Yoda back up. Eventually I opened the plush prison door but Scooter did not want to come out. She wanted to stay hidden on top of the Victrola, behind a little thing that olds the old 78s Bing Crosby Cowboy collection. A little while later, I saw a blur and heard a noise. Looked over to see Scooter coming over to greet her new big buddy. Yoda hissed at her and has been hissing at her every time Scooter tries to get near. But thankfully, Yoda has never gotten an arched back or fluffy tail so I assume those are good things. ![]()
There's hope. Last night Yoda slept with Thing 1, where she usually does. And Scooter slept with Thing 2, but only because I booted her out of our bedroom and shut the door. She's not bright enough to know that our door doesn't latch due to the home-remodelling and impending house falling over. Here's hoping she'll never figure it out because I don't sleep with cats. Especially rowdy ones who are into everydamnthing. ![]()
