Heh.
After dropping off the boys at school, I swung through the drive-up bank of mailboxes at the post office.
Some broad in front of me was trying to stuff a bunch of mail, all at once, into an already overflowing mailbox. Never mind that there were other mailboxes without stuff hanging out of them (By the way, how naive are people to leave reachable mail sticking out of a mailbox?)
So, she's trying to stuff a wad of envelopes into the overflowing box when she loses her grip and they all go falling. Right under her car.
Do you think she'd drive up a bit to get them? Apparently she thought that if she moved her car I'd drive right on up, on top of her mail.
Instead she got out and reached under her car to retrieve them. Onto the freezing cold pavement. 10 degrees out there, people. I watched from the warm vehicle. Besides, it shouldn't have taken her as long as it did.
Am I awful for enjoying myself so much?
Oh hell, that's rhetorical. It was hysterical. Perhaps I'm awful. Today karma will get even with me. It's Food for Folks with Mom riding shotgun.
Note to Earring Lovers: I posted 35 pair of them at Kitsch In Art!
