Don't you mess with me, weatherman. I'm not falling for this possible 10 to 16" of snow headed my way.

I bought all the supplies last week and hardly needed a one of them (just that white zin was all I needed).

This time, weatherman, I'm on to you. I think you have an interest in the local grocery store and receive a stipend for increased sales due to storm forecasting.

I had the most fun day yesterday. I took a couple of gift cards from my birthday (Thanks Art! Thanks The Kid!) and spent them.

I love shopping without spending alot of money. It makes me very very happy.

I used my Barnes & Noble gift card from Art toward the purchase of the latest Naked Chef cookbook. Lordy, I love me a pretty cookbook with pretty pictures of pretty places. I see many days ahead, reading Jamie Oliver's cookbook while sipping wine.

You people didn't think I was actually going to use the cookbook for cooking, did you? I own almost every Jamie Oliver cookbook, I think, and have yet to prepare one of his recipes.

I know. It sounds crazy. But have you ever looked at his cookbooks? They're things of beauty. They homages to the pretty that is food.

Because of Art's gift and the latest acquisition of The Naked Chef's cookbook, I am hereby vowing that I will prepare some Naked Chef recipes.

I have to deliver Food For Folks today instead of Friday. The person who organizes it called me and asked if I could switch days this week seeing as how she had a run on drivers for Friday.

I think I should mess with the old people's heads. They're going to wonder what I'm doing there on a Wednesday!

"Wednesday? No. It's Friday. Oh my god! Did you fall and hit your head?"

Oh. Whew. I slay me. It's Friday. They're going to be totally messed up.
