I probably should have picked up more snowstorm supplies. The snow is falling and falling and falling.
Must ration the half and half.
The kids were released from school about half an hour early. High School and Middle school buses are also used later on for Elementary schools and I'm sure they didn't want the little kids arriving back home around midnight, after having to push buses out of snowbanks all night long.
No school conferences tonight or basketball games. We're all excited because we love hunkering down. We're holding our breath for a snow day tomorrow.
The Frame Shop was open today. You just never know when you're going to have a framing emergency on a snowstormy day. Of course, we had more customers than we normally do on a Thursday morning. I have no idea what is up with that. I guess it gives people something to talk about later. "Oh yes Eunice! I had brought in those paintings I'd done at our art class to get framed because I wanted to get them in the Senior Art Show! And then, Eunice! I got stuck in a snow bank until that nice guy from the frame shop helped push me out! Oh Eunice! His hair flew off! It was horrible! I didn't know he was bald!"
People, please. Keep your artwork at home until a safer time. We don't need old folks with paint by numbers out on the roads today.
